300 years of tradition in a 4-star hotel

16th Century

Built in the 16th century, the Hotel Post, a former farmhouse, is one of to the oldest buildings in Sils-Maria.

Agostino Prevosti, the owner at that time, started to convert the building by opening a restaurant on the first floor.

The hay barn had served its purpose and was converted into a spacious, bright hall that was used for different events and functions for the people of Sils-Maria.

The next generation of Prevostis extended the main building with two more floors. For the first time, they were now able to welcome 24 holiday guests to spend the night.

The family was able to continue to expand the building. With a major renovation in 1998, the 4-star hotel as we know it today was born.

After 4 generations of being a family business, the hotel changed owners and the AG Post & Mercatorium took over. It already runs the neighbouring Hotel Edelweiss successfully and is looking forward to continuing the journey of the Hotel Post.

By merging the two hotels, our guests can now benefit from a larger variety of offers and a wider selection of amenities.
