Map and directions

The Hotel Post is located in Sils-Maria in the Upper Engadine; an area with good parking facilities and well-served by local transport. Parking in our hotel garage or in the public car park is CHF 12.00 per night. There are no free parking spaces in Sils-Maria. If you choose to travel by car, please reserve a parking space in advance.

 

 

By car

You can reach the Engadin by car from all over Switzerland, Italy, Germany and Austria. In the case of severe snow, driving on the passes is permitted only with snow chains or 4x4 vehicles. Otherwise, it is advisable to travel to the Lower Engadine via the Vereina Tunnel (car train) from Klosters. Learn more about the current road conditions, the car train and your personal route.

By train

The journey by Rhaetian Railway (RhB) from Chur - Tiefencastel - Engadine with its tunnels and viaducts is one of Europe’s most impressive railway routes. The Engadine can also be reached from Landquart via the Kloster-Vereina Tunnel. From Zurich HB you can get to St. Moritz in 3 hours. Bus no. 4 from St. Moritz HB will take you to Sils-Maria in 15 minutes. You can also reach the Engadine on a Post Bus from Chiavenna on express line 4E. Airport transfer
